<description>&#60;p&#62;I found, and still find, London is very easy to cycle in. The rush hour traffic barely moves.  There are a lot more bikes than in Glasgow or Airdrie.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;These days I don't bother carrying an AtoZ because I'm rarely in a hurry. If I had to find a specific street I might but generally I just go to the parks, museums and so on. It took me a couple of gos to find Freddie Mercury's house. I knew it was off Cromwell Rd, near Earl's Court. It wasn't that hard.

&#60;p&#62;Sage advice I always try to follow. It won't avoid every situation, and it can detract from the fun of cycling at times, but it certainly prepares you better.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;There are many reasons I wouldn't want to live or work in London, but the cycling tales I so often read or hear are towards the very top of the list.
