Transprt Scotland has laughably tried to shoehorn in "improvements to cycling infrastructure" to the upgrade of the A8 between Ballieston and Newhouse to motorway standard. But I very much doubt it."<br /> "Why not?" came the inevitable response.<br /> "Because, unfortunately, the government doesn't really seem to care about cyclists."<br /> "Why?"<br /> "Because most people drive everywhere and so the government just looks after the majority.
