And in total, our support for active travel over the next two years compared to the last two will rise from around £40m to £60m"</p> <p>It could well be new money - but I can't work out where the totals in the speech come from using the information presented in the budget document. It doesn't help that the figures are combined over two year periods - which make the increases look larger than they actually are (£20m over two years as opposed to £10m per year).
