Maybe restricting motor vehicles and actively encouraging active bicycling will become more important...

You've apparently forgotten about these extremely essential capital projects the government is committed to:

- Queensferry Resilience Crossing
- Aberdeen Western Peripheral Salmond Run
- A9 Safety Anti-Funeral Dualling
- M8 Engine Of Growth Widening
- A96 Oil Industry Commuter Pipeline

After we've done all that, there may be a few bawbees left over for:

- Inverness Backpackers Express Train Enhancements
- National Dog Walking and Active Strolling Network

This just popped up on Twitter -

"

Paul Wheelhouse MSP (@PaulWheelhouse)
12/09/2013 08:29
Really valued opp'ty to take part in #2020Lecture panel last night on climate science & Scotland's approach to make low carbon transition

"

He's the one who was sent to Pedal on Parliament to read a prepared bit of propaganda.

Yesterday's 'new (maybe) money for active travel' continues to show that the current Scittish Government doesn't have much of a clue about the Transport element of 'carbon'.

Meanwhile this is in today's Scotsman -

"

In its new report, Audit Scotland says annual increases in energy generated from renewable sources must double if they are to meet electricity targets set out by the Scottish Government.

"

http://www.scotsman.com/news/environment/scotland-s-renewable-energy-targets-challenging-1-3087713

Maybe restricting motor vehicles and actively encouraging active bicycling will become more important...
