A lovely sunny day in Strathclyde Park. Lots of crowds (weather helped, of course). The "bike racks" (some crash barriers set up in triangles) were rather busy (people who are interested in triathlon show up by bicycle shock). We only got one set, but that was enough for us to go down and see some of the free events (Time Trials, triathlon, marathon) and just soak up the atmosphere. It was <em>awesome</em>. I'd totally recommend going over for one of the free events, even if you don't want to put in for tickets.</p> <p>My mother has very inconsiderately decided to have her 70th birthday on the middle weekend.
