In the past I have turned left down the A68, which is okay as it's downhill and you can bomb along quite happily.</p> <p>I drove over the A68 last Saturday and realised that heading south there are two lanes up that climb, so it's possibly not quite as hairy a climb south from the Soutra Aisle junction as I thought.
