Traffic along the Broadway barely has to slow to negotiate it and I've seen quite a few boy racers deliberately drifting their cars through it - it could almost have been designed for minimal interruption to traffic speed, safety be damned. </p> <p>If you're cycling out of the Crescent in order to go east along Broadway, you've got to negotiate fast Broadway traffic from 2 directions and cross an additional exit leading to the train station, classic scenario for cars in a hurry to the pick up / drop off.</p> <p>Hope the cyclist is ok. </p> http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/topic.php?id=11617#post-132476 Wed, 13 Nov 2013 23:07:19 +0000 chrisfl 132476@http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/ <p>Hope they're okay. In a twist of fate, I decided to head to Decathlon tonight to finally buy a new front light to replace my reaching-the-end current one so never touched this roundabout.</p> <p>I really hope this isn't as serious as I suspect it may have been.
