No gritting on the Hutchison Crossway path or any of the Broomhouse Path. Still fairly white with frost even at 11AM as I was heading in to work after being at GP.

No way Leamington Walk or the western half of NMW or the southern bit of MMW had been done, not even using the "dump a pile of salt at the foot of LW and hope for the best" technique employed last year. Holyrood Park path also not done this morning.

I saw a small gritter on the "northbound" footway of Dalkeith Road from Cameron Toll about 1745 last night.

That's no confirmation that they're doing the off-road paths, but the above section of footway has no houses or shops on it, so wouldn't have been part of the "usual" gritting - pedestrians being more likely to use the other footway on that stretch.

South team says they've been gritted. No sign of it to my eyes. Or parent I asked who'd come opposite way to school drop-off.

Paths fairly clear and dry though. Patches of frost, which I took gingerly.

Anyone know if the off-road path network's been gritted?

LW, SMW and MMW in particular ?
