Focus has provided excellent links. I have mine mounted on my helmet as I found that a handlebar vibrates far to much to be of any use, also it's better to record what you're looking at rather than where your wheel is pointed IMO. I have one of the large double size Tic Tac boxes which I plan to adapt to fit the Mobius. Previously had an #16 808 camera from eletoponline365 (with an Tic Tac case and external battery pack as internal battery only lasted 40min) which failed after 1 year so I sent it back then paid £18 to upgrade to the Mobius. I've been using it for a week or so and just playing about with settings ATM to get the best results.

I previously plugged the Mobius (& others) in the Cateye Inou Camera thread.

Techmoan has one of usual excellent reviews here and sample clips here.

Ah! I must have misread your post, @condor - didn't realise you had actually bought one!

Where do you mount it (helmet / handlebars)?
How is the image stability?
Any videos we can have a peek at?

Hard to argue with £50 plus some kind of Heath Robinson waterproofedness :)

I would agree that 720 gives too narrow a FOV. 1080/30 gives a nice wide angle and enough clarity to easily see licence plates as they zip by you. The only proviso I'd say is that it's a fish eye lens, and while there is no distortion of the recording, and it is excellent, it can sometimes make the close pass not look so close due to physics or something. I've looked back a few times at close passes I've had and they don't look as bad as they were.

cool might well order oine shortly. Although from the video review would suggest only opoerating it in full 1080/30 as the 720 was not so good.

You're correct in that it's not waterproofed, so on the rare occasions when it's raining during my commute I'll not have it on (or heath robinson a case for it out of a large tictac box). I actually emailed eletoponline365 yesterday asking if they have a way of weatherproofing it and they replied this morning that they are currently developing a waterproof case though they are not sure when it will be available.

The issue will be the heat sink (the metal bits on the top) as it does generate heat when it's operating and this will need to be dissipated somehow.

A 3rd party makes a silicon cover which seems like it would be protection enough for a scottish shower but I don't have this so can't comment on how well it would work. Link here

Other than the waterproof issue I'm very happy with it, and hopefully that will be solved in the near future.

That mobius looks just the job. It's even got my must-have-feature of auto-looping the recording when the card gets full :)

It would definitely need a plastic waterproof case tho - I see that some people do make them, but for the earlier version of the camera so you would have to be careful that you got a case that definitely fitted.

I just got myself a very good HD (1080P 30 FPS) cam called the Mobius from a chinese seller on eBay for £43. The seller is called eletoponline365 and they are very very good. I've dealt with them a lot and the customer service is excellent.

I'd highly recommend the seller and the camera. They developed it themselves, primarily for the RC aircraft users, it's got ongoing firmware development and they are continuing to add features to the GUI. Online review from techmoan is positive and there is a number of active discussion threads on the RC forum by Tom Frank.

Looks interesting on a features basis
I like the smart phone/Garmin remote feature
way out of my price range at £350 though!
