"

Dear Fill That Hole user,

In the past you've used Fill That Hole, CTC's pothole reporting website, and agreed for CTC to contact you.

Thanks to your help, over 90,000 road defects have been reported to local authorities across Great Britain, many of which have led to local authorities repairing the road and making conditions safer for all road users.

Now CTC wants to make Fill That Hole better

In the next few weeks, CTC will be announcing new developments in the site, which should make it an even better tool for helping to locate road defects, and improving the means by which councils can use the site to speed up and improve road repairs.

Has Fill That Hole helped you?

To help publicise Fill That Hole more widely, we'd like your stories about how you've used the site, and whether or not it has benefited you, or your work.

- Have you damaged your bike, or car, and used the site to report hazardous conditions?
- Have you reported potholes in your street, which have then been fixed?
- Have you been injured, and used the site to try and support your case for compensation?

I should be very grateful if you would email me chris.peck@ctc.org.uk with your stories and thoughts on the site.

Thanks once again for reporting defects through the site - each report helps make the roads that little bit safer for everyone.

I look forward to hearing your pothole stories.

Yours,

Chris Peck
