Just back from El Dell. Saw some guys trying to play golf at kingsnowe, the safety net blown away again I think is always a sign to stay in the clubhouse.

My light is well worth twenty quid. Quite a solid article. The wee rubber band fittings look a little flimsy.

Lots of spares, three pin, two pin and USB rechargeable adapters.

I thought I hadn't got anything but came home to a Brooks Tool Roll for the big bike and a Georgia in Dublin rain skirt which is supposedly usable on a cross-bar bike - we'll see, if not it will certainly be handy on the Brompton

Gembo, did you buy that light, my dad bought it vs the revolution one for 40 (on my recommendation admittedly) it's pretty bright the ebc wasn't 20 quid better.

I bought a contour in October and realised that they had gone out of business when I went to download the software I realised they had gone out of business, but looking around at the moment it looks like they're going to be revived.

No bicycle related Christmas presents for me, however I did buy myself a pair of pully systems for mounting bicycles on the ceiling that I've now put up.

@Kaputnik, one could argue that the Boardman bike was a step change in competition cycle design as it combined F1 standard CA design and CF monocoque design for the first time in a full package while most of the opposition were still welding alloy or steel together and not moving significantly away from the two triangles standard.
I would say though that only a few of their chosen fifty bikes "changed the world", but most could be argued as some kind of developemental milestone.

I've just remembered to add: I also got a tea towel with bicycles on it from my mother-in-law.

This marks a worrying departure for me: it's the first year that I've had a present that is bicycle-related but not off a 'wish list' of some kind. It means that she went into a shop, saw a tea towel with bicycles and thought "I'll get that for Greenroofer because he likes bicycles".

I obviously have a reputation now. I am not sure if this is a good thing.
