(It wasn't working)</p> <p>Leaving St Andrew Sq via St Andrew Street, I carefully crossed the tramlines - or, so I thought, because my back wheel got stuck between them.</p> <p>Fortunately, there was no traffic behind me (I have no idea what the traffic rules are around there at the moment) so I had time to dismount and pull my bike out.</p> <p>But the lesson was clear: the tramlines are a perfect fit for my tyres. </p> <p>And that might not be a problem on a road with no traffic, but it could be a fatal problem if I was cycling along the tram route during rush hour. </p>
