In some ways this coloured the Human Power record at Battle Mountain. I'm sure Mike would have been able to provide a lot of info on what people had found as they tried to edge their speed up by 0.25mph. Graeme's effort was very much solo effort that no-one else would have even attempted. I hear they've suspended most of the bikes from the roof where you can't really see them anyway.</p> <p>The Burrows-built version of "Old Faithful" doesn't "look right". That's mainly because it actually looks like a "proper" bike. Part of the elegance of OF is some of the clunkiness of it all. It has it where it matters, but he didn't feel the need to refine parts that didn't need refined. He had to make his own bottom bracket and BB bearings to achieve this on Old Faithful.
