It is therefore proposed to remove the boards and apply a liquid based anti skid surfacing. I anticipate that this more traditional form of surfacing will give a minimum of 10 years service before requiring replacement. In the short term, temporary boards have been put in place to minimise the risks to users.</p> <p>Funding for this work has been sourced and my staff are currently preparing to issue tender documents to relevant Contractors. It is anticipated that work will be carried out mid February, weather permitting. Probably right about the non-slip surface.
