The Govt via the police should address the root cause - poor and inconsiderate driving. Because we accept this by non-enforcement we see an increase in this behaviour. They're designed almost entirely for pedestrian use and are also largely unsuitable places for cycling (for a different host of reasons). And this can usually be done through proper policing.</p> <p>Or am I being too utopian? </p>
