Yes a papier mâché bing, nice

The paper bing is closer to the foot of the road, just after the river.( The garages are small with red or blue doors)

And a row of houses known as piano cottages

There is (or was) a covered water reservoir about two-thirds of the way up Harlaw Road. I don't recall any garages though.

But why has it been levelled off below the top of the bank and why was a drive built into it ? It's so flat it looks like it has been prepared for a building, or has been the site of a building that has been demolished.

Can anyone tell me, what is the history of the apparently ex-industrial site on the left as you climb Harlaw Road ? From fhe road all you can see are a flight of steps up a steep bank but at the top it opens out to a large flat area with an earth bank around its border and a concrete drive down to the road to the rear of a row of garages.
