Lots of taxis and PHCs enter it at the Cowgate end. No. 35 presumably punted down Jeffrey then up Market, thence back towards the end of Chambers St to pick up the old route? I guess the bit between the Bridges and Blackfriars Street will be left non-pedestrianised to allow for taxis to turn and wait at the Scandic Crown taxi rank? Unless Blackfriars Street is more heavily used by motorvehicles than I am aware?
