"

You are invited to the OpenStreetMap social gathering at the CCA bar, Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow on Tuesday 17 August 2010 at 7.30pm. (OpenStreetMap is like wikipedia for maps.)

Come along for a fun and informative chat about community mapping and its exciting applications in bike route mapping, natural disaster mapping (Haiti, Pakistan), whitewater mapping, gaelic maps, Common Good Maps, etc etc - and even mapping Glasgow!

We can show you how to start mapping and would love to know how you could use the OSM data, maybe for visualisations, history, art, iphone apps or finding your way home.

Hope you can make it along for a drink or two, all welcome
