Emerging from the Trinity path/tunnel direction then heading east was the strangest, as the ped crossing is split into two signal-linked chunks, so if you're going right you're best off taking the rightmost channel of footway, which isn't as heavily shared-use-marked-up (AFAI recall - need to check footage). After you exit McKelvie to go east there's a short stretch of gappy (give way to peds at the crossing) shared-use bit which just goes as far as the point where westbound traffic's stop line used to be.
