Facts, thoughts, feelings. Feelings at the end, summing up how the preceding words made me feel. Certainly not 'tagged on' in my mind, instead deliberately separated from what I typed above to stand out.</p> <p>Obviously, I can see why you'd be particularly interested in <em>who</em> it was, being an area you've ridden in. To me, it's simply a tragedy, no matter where it happened. Neither feeling is more right than the other, just from slightly different perspectives.</p> <p>I <em>think</em>, though I stand to be corrected, it's fairly standard to arrest a driver in a case like this, if there's any possibility (or ambiguity?) of wrong-doing. I am more interested in whom it was. There were photos available showing the position of the bike and what was behind the Driver's door. It is a busy junction with lots of offices nearby and next to City Thameslink station. It is a very busy junction just next to City Thameslink railway station.</p> <p>This junction was on my commute for a few years. </p> <p>Some facts not speculation. Both the truck and cyclist were heading East along Fleet Street. The incident happened at around 10am in Ludgate Circus, reports London 24, and is the third time a rider has been killed in the capital this year.<br /> Related links</p> <p>A photo posted on Twitter by @G4Lycra appears to show the truck was turning left. </p> <p>...</em>"</p> <p>First impressions from the photo would suggest the bike was travelling on the main road and the truck came out of the junction, since the truck isn't stopped anywhere near the kerb. That <em>might</em> be the bike obscured by the truck door. of course, that's just conjecture and I've no idea who even had right of way at that point.</p> <p>Sad anyway you look at it. </p>
