Interesting. Strange to not see photos of armies in South East Asia. Two major triumphs of bicycle powered warfare were:

- Japanese 'blitzkreig' by bike in Malaya and Singapore, inflicting heaviest defeat of British army in WW2
- Ho Chi Minh trail re-supplying Viet Cong during Vietnam War, ultimately inflicting biggest defeat for US since WW2.

Presume there will be Chinese PLA examples too?

I love F.R. Simms design, or rather the photograph. Just what the stressed commuting gentleman (or lady, of course) needs to encourage taxis to keep their distance!

I see a recent reply states:

"BAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA.

*ding-a-ling ding-a-ling* Watch out! It's the USMC!

In all seriousness, what the heck was wrong with people at the end of the 1800's?! Might as well have just put on some roller-skates. "

Which is exactly one of the things the Home Guard genuinely tried!
