"While pavement cycling is illegal, in January this year, the minister for cycling, Robert Goodwill, urged police not to punish cyclists who rode on the pavement to escape dangerous or intimidating junctions."

Those red lights are so intimidating, it's such a negative colour!

Haven't watched this yet, but my first weeks of helmet camming definitely what struck me was how bad cyclists were riding on the shared use paths. Not intentionally, but just obliviously. I probably used to do the same things before I thought about it. Been planning a blog and some clips, but need to get the videos edited.

The SAAB one is a bit tricky for me to decide upon. Without doubt, nobody should be turning without making sure the way is clear, but I can't really make out if and when the car indicates. That said, I would never pass a vehicle like that unless it was a stationary line of traffic and I could see there was nothing to cross in front of me from the other side of the road.

And I don't care how good someone is at riding hands-free, they shouldn't be doing it on the road or with peds/dogs or other riders on other types of route.

Sad to say there's nothing new there. There'll always be road users who are inconsiderate and show a disregard for themselves and others.

The faceplant is spectactular though, definitely a #1 for Silly Cyclists.

Was the guy at 2:29 doing anything wrong? It looked like the SAAB didn't check the bike lane before it turned left. I suppose it could be argued that he passed on the inside but bike lanes encourage that.

The jacket guy got the sleeve caught in the front wheel.

No surprise in some ways, depressing.
He must have done the jacket removal before.

Worth watching, if only for the plonker vying for Darwin Award consideration, trying to take his jacket off whilst riding (at 2:30).
