I can't imagine it being a great idea on popular cycle routes. In cities where there are shops leaving lights on in windows, it may be practical.</p> <p>But with the UK's history on clearing snow from roads, I doubt we'd see them visible much in the winter. And then you have to factor in how many road surfaces are broken up an badly surfaced...</p> <p>Interesting to see how the trial goes. </p>
