"even at a slow pace"

Pace wasn't slow (apart from Porty Prom and the pedestrian weaving), we just stopped and stared a lot.

'Original deviant'. Not at all. I was merely trying to suggest that I so enjoyed yesterday's ride, that I was up for a repeat.

I rarely cycle more than 1-2 miles a day. So doing 27 - even at a slow pace - might have been expected to leave some negative effects. But actually, I feel fine except for my 'botty' (as the 7yo puts it) and my shoulders where I had backpack on.

Day in the Dells sounds much shadier and less burny than one at the seafront.

Definitely need to get down there and work it out, lot of steps and twists that I usually bypass.
I admit to contributing to the deviation but SRD original deviant of the other thread by asking where we are going today. I find myself painting a small wall and listening to Hosier, not sure of spelling, but v good if a little polished blues man from county Wicklow. The youth claim to know of him?

Hozier. Check out his song cherry wine.

Gembo deviated a different thread with -

"There should be a way through craiglockhart dell t avoid the aqueduct. There isn't as the valley side very steep but you can do it walking. There is a lovely house down in the valley floor that must be accessed from the craiglockhart side but it might sit on bend in the river on the craiglockhart side. The council used to own a mansion out that way where they ran training sessions. That will be flats now I bet. Not sure why that bit doesn't get used, it is maybe private land but often see deer and is quite a swathe of hidden countryside. Must consult my spokes map."

I responded -

"@ Gembo I think you need a day in the Dells (yes plural).

See how many grottoes you can discover, and find the doocot."

Anyone up for that?
