A silver ladies ridgeback speed in case anyone happens across it. Anyway, I am gutted and can't claim on insurance as, even though it was in a secure courtyard, it wasn't secured to an "immovable object". </p> <p>I have borrowed an old rusty bike with 6 gears, which will do me at the moment, but I don't particularly enjoy riding it. I'm tempted just to go out a buy a new one, but think that might be a bit rash. Has anyone been in a similar position? How likely is it it will be recovered? I have given police the frame number etc and am constantly refreshing gumtree but not holding out much hope :-( </p>
