I've done the same thing myself to a friend, although I was on a "normal" bike.

Unpleasant for both, although clearly worse for her...

Hopefully it isn't too offputting and she recovers quickly.

@DaveC, if you didn't have an invisible bike, the lady would clearly not have forgotten to follow the bend of the road. Or something!

Glad to hear it's not too serious. These things happen.. better on a bike than in the car!

A cyclist I'd been riding in with and I colided unfortunately this morning at Barnton Ave and East Barnton Ave junction.

We'd struck up a conversation in South Queensferry and just rode in (something you can't do in a car btw). As we approached the left hand turn where the road goes left, she missed the bend and we colided as I turned in and she didn't. I am on the Bent and have no injuries, but the poor lady ended up going over the handle bars of her bike. I passing joggiest stopped and in the end we called an ambulance. She has minor cuts and bruising and after 25 mins waiting she cancelled the ambulance and got a taxi instead.

I feel bad for colliding with her, but when I asked her while we waited for the taxi, if she meant to continue on the road round to the left, or make a right turn stright on, she said she had meant to go left. I feel a little better for this, but still sorry for colliding with her. :O(

I have had a short text exchange with her and she is at the Western Gen's minor injuries centre and being looked after. She was appologetic but I think perhaps if was a mutual crash and we're both at fault.

I wish her the best for a speedy recovery and hope she doesn't feel too sore over the next few days.

Turns out she rides with the wife of a coulpe of friends in the bay, small work etc...
