I am not aware of a drop in the wind when it rains. I can see where your theory would apply in town, though.</p> <p>I did wonder about the wind - when it's dry, most times I'm really fighting the Westerly wind going along the A90 &lt;--&gt; Kirkliston road. My best bets are;</p> <p>1. Meteorology - is there less wind when it's raining?<br /> 2. Coefficient of friction - do 90psi tyres travel faster in the rain than the dry?<br /> 3. Motivation - am I just trying harder cos I want to get home?</p> <p>Any learned wisdom? </p>
