I'm a nice chap at heart so I leave a note telling him his cable is on its last legs.</p> <p>Leaving work, I unchain the ratty hybrid, but it goes nowhere. The lock that was on the other bike is...threaded through my luggage rack. Lucky I carry tools. I remove the rack, free the hybrid. I get a biro off a nice Aussie cyclist and put a note on the rack;</p> <p>'Dear colleague. I hope the brake cable snapped and you are dead. If not, please give my luggage rack to Greenroofer.'</p> <p>On the way home a startled moorhen ran under my bike. Between the wheels. And I got wet. Bah.</p> <p>@Greenroofer - I'll call round on the 17th. Sorry about any fuss. </p>
