Was surprised to find not only had signs been changed throughout the race but there was a large patch of intentionally spread broken glass at the bottom of a steep descent on to a busy main road. It was fascinating to see the different routes people ended up going on Strava and just lucky I had planned it on the gps in advance. </p> <p>It was a thorn in my fiancées tyre and something catching in my mudguard after being forced off the edge of the road by a 4x4 resulting in a grazed knee that slowed us down in the end rather than the glass or signs but I was very surprised to see the effort someone had gone to to disrupt a charity event with around 150 participants. Unlike the Wiggle events that have had problems in England, as there weren't any closed roads I certainly didn't expect this level of problems. </p> <p>Anyone else seen similar at events recently? </p>
