Hackney has seen the greatest increase in cycling over the ten years since the last census, and so the Hackney Cycling Conference last week was a place to reflect on recent successes, and look forward.

In the London borough where 15 per cent of the workforce cycle their commute, and only 35 per cent of households have access to a car, cycling and its proponents have found a home.
