Too expensive to get in, too expensive to insure, too many exhibitors—or not enough exhibitors, too stuck-in-a-rut, too old school, and certainly too much bad weather of late that saw campers flooded out.</p> <p>There's a grassroots organisation that's planning to resurrect the York Rally for 2015, in a sort of leaner 'by the people, for the people' manner. Peter Eland of Velovision is one of the organising team and has suggested that the rally be a coming-together of all the cycling forums; perhaps a CCE contingent is an idea.
