Keith's life was indeed changed by open tuning and only having to bother with five strings. In his quite good auto biog (until the skag years) he mentions cycling as a kid.</p> <p>My sister in law is a town clerk and she knows a nice quiet man who is town clerk in another town. His daughter or son is married to a child of Keith Richards and the two grandads hang out.
