Did it last year as part of Cambrian Coast Sportive and have to admit I got off and walked. I thought I was doing okay until I started seeing others get off and then my mind gave in - if it was acceptable for them to get off it was acceptable for me to get off. My legs didn't object to stopping. I'm looking forward to it, though with a little trepidation. We roll into Dinas Mawddwy after almost 80 hilly miles and really Bwlch y Groes is the only way back to Ride HQ in Bala. I'm aiming to remain clipped in all the way but if I have to walk so be it.</p> <p>I walked a couple of steep bits on last year's event but had the excuse of being baulked by people spinning in lower gears than I possess.
