I hate that part of the road to cycle along. I've taken recently to going along St Johns Road / Corstorphine Road instead of Queensferry Road to get to work. However it always goes a bit wrong at the Queensferry Street, Shandwick Place, Princes Street, Lothian Road junction where you end up jumping on/ off pavements/ pedestrian crossings.</p> <p>Is there a sensible way to avoid this junction or get across it without being a bit "naughty"? </p>
