Spoken to someone who uses that route and had corresponded with the council- it is apparently to cut down overgrown vegetation and will be for today only. Good news and fewer nettle stings I hope!

In case any of you are use Cammo Walk, a guy was putting up some pretty big barriers at the Cramond end at 8.30 this morning closing the road. he didn't know what for or for how long. He let me through as they weren't starting work for a while and they hadn't put anything up at the other end as it is only 2 way for cyclists. If you use that route, suggest you try something else at least for this afternoon and see if the council has any announcements.
