There is a bit of rust on the frame, particularly on the dropout and a bit around the fork crowns. On the seat stays you see there is some insulating tape which I took off to reveal more significant rust - and possibly an old crack that has been welded, although I'm not sure. If it is a weld it's very neat indeed - I imagine there was some sort of clamp fixture there - bike seat?</p> <p>The bike is in a very useable state I'd say - newish bottom bracket and headset feels fine. Chain and sprockets don't seem to worn to me - wheels reasonably true. I would guess this is actually 21" - alas it's too small for me… really nice bike though.
