The weird cobbled "speedbump" thing is a bit of a nuisance heading uphill, as is trying to make the right turn into the dropped kerb.</p> <p>South Groathill Avenue has always been a bit of a bad one for being a ratrun/ race track.</p> <p>There's a second access point to the NEPN just further north than the new one on the fancy junction. Cars parked on both sides of the road, and speedbumps, so as I headed uphill, cars were speeding down, in the middle of the lane. as here (from perspective on my return journey): <img src="https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3896/15350436915_0a20fe8f9b_o.jpg"></p> <p>definitely not 'family network'. i thought it was telling that the route signs only began after i got onto Craigleithhill... at least they were truthful. </p>
