That said, the fact that it's coming off a shared use pavement (which has meant it's come in for some criticism on twitter) should mean the bikes would be going fairly slowly (and besides, most cars won't stop for a zebra anyway unless you step into the road and do your best impression of someone who won't be intimidated by anyone)</p> <p>UPDATED to add - looking at it again, it looks like it's the bikes that have the give way lines.
