He was a chap who frequented the cafe society of Glasgow's West End in the 1980s and 1990s.</p> <p>In the UB Chip Bar (i used to hang out there on saturday mornings as I knew the barman and he gave you free coffee if you brought him cakes). Victor would come in for a coffee every week and the barman would give him a black coffee. Victor would then demand cream. (same ballet every week). He would then turn the coffee spoon to the convex side and pour an entire jug of cream into the coffee and indeed over the rim of the cup and into the saucer. He would then drink the coffee and cream from the saucer and then the cup. Lovely.</p> <p>I mostly get blank looks in PY. </p>
