I think there were a few weird/ jokey things like 'don't stay in school do drugs' which may have been removed but thankfully almost everything seems to have stayed. It's annoying when they're spraying as there's not a lot of ventilation in there, but I love seeing it evolve over time through there. It's an historic structure of some heritage value, note and quality of construction and an important part in Edinburgh's industrial and railway past. It should be accorded likewise respect. </p> <p>It's a tunnel, it's dark and damp by its very nature. If it needs brightening up to make it more user friendly, then this should be done properly, not in a way that damages the fabric.</p> <p>LED lighting like on Calton Road/Waterloo Place under-over-bridge-pass might be nice. Can't see much on the way down but plenty of time to look on the way up! There's an octopus type thing which reminds me of a Beatles song and little footprints on the path, love it
