@amir - The internal charger works brilliantly with the batteries, although you have to be sure to use the supplied plug (it's as mini USB port, though you don't seem to be able to use just any old mini USB wall charger). Mine from Amazon came with an EU plug for some reason, but Phillips were pretty good at replacing it.

As a guide, I cycle half an hour each way Monday and Tuesday for a total of two hours on full Beam, then charge midweek for another two days use. This tends to do the job. Be aware that with great battery rating comes great lifetime drain, in that the mega rated batteries such as the ones above will only withstand about 500 cycles before degrading.

Those batteries combined with a half price light might make a real bargain. The light output is good.

@BenN does the internal charger work okay with those batteries?

My next light will probably be a dynamo, to allow for audaxing (see thread just about to be created). I only went for a battery light because the need to change between 26 inch and 700 wheels (the former for smowy commutes with studded tyres).

I use one of these daily and have been through tonnes of different batteries to find the right solution, as it absolutely drinks them. The only option I have found so far that actually work reliably are Sanyo Eneloop 2450 - as I understand it, the 2450 is the guaranteed minimum, whereas in most circumstances the rating is the average or target capacity. These batteries things are expensive, but they actually work!

Edit - forgot to say that when you get the right batteries this light is absolutely brilliant, and does a fantastic job of daylighting the path, with minimal leakage past the horizontal cutoff.

Sorry to learn this Amir, I have only known riders who own the dymano models and (apart from the mount) swear by them.

I had one of those. When it worked it was great, but the circuitery seems be dodgy - see http://forum.ctc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=81972&start=15
The internal charger stopped working properly and even externally charged batteries didn't last very long. After exchanging it for a new one, I had a similar problem and so got my money back and bought a Cateye Volt 1200, which is great (though the charging light doesn't come on!).
