Was nice to meet some new people, and chat to DaveC and Instography from here.</p> <p>Some highlights:</p> <p>Fife expanding the 'cycling hub' with a closed circuit track in the planning stages. looking for feedback on that. Looks like we may have 3 closed circuits within 30 miles soon, good.</p> <p>Fife Cycling festival will become a 'Summer of Cycling' which will run from May to September. Calls for events / things to run in that time frame under the 'Summer of Cycling Banner'. Not all sport, want it to be inclusive.</p> <p>New Fife Cycling Website to rolled out soon by Council.</p> <p>As mentioned earlier via video, Fife trying to market the area as a world class cycling destination.</p> <p>They are seeking people to get involved in community based projects, guided rides, cycle start, that sort of thing.</p> <p>Councillor chap who spoke at start (missed his name) will be attending #Pop2015</p> <p>Predictable:<br /> No money for infra, other than the current Sustrans projects. Transport chap willing, but no resource. Aspiration to get same levels of funding as Edinburgh "Thats the dream".
