Very slow speed, seemed to be clipped by a runner. You could see him bracing himself. I was quite convinced that I was going to fall in at some point, but the seasons turned and IWRATS remained superficial. Rats scuttled but I did not sink. Nor was I an impediment to the orderly accumulation of sediment. The sludge at the bottom is unimaginably disgusting. This is not to say that I am going to deliberately fall in, as that would be weird.</p> <p>I'm sure there's lots of stuff like this. I wouldn't do it frivolously, but I'm glad that I have had surgery under general anaesthetic because, firstly, it makes for a bunch of good stories but also the experience will be relevant in later life.</p> <p>Just me? </p>
