<description>&#60;p&#62;was me… I had to do some work on my van yesterday late last night, which is parked on the road. Towards the end I had to get in to check the timing from the drivers seat. As I went to get out, I looked in the mirror for cyclists in the cycle lane, and saw nothing but a bus on the main carriageway. Something stopped me opening the door thankfully, as at the very moment the bus passed a cyclist with no lights came past very much riding in the door zone - within centimetres of the driver's door. I'm still shuddering a bit thinking what might have happened had I opened the door.
