I'd have corrected the error in the data myself earlier in the week, but was very pushed for time. (Chrisfl - thanks for resolving my note on OSM.)</p> <p>I often see notes on here about Cyclestreets providing an odd routing. It's very often because of minor defects in the OSM data - but in general these errors ought to be becoming rarer. The data is in a pretty good state.</p> <p>Can I suggest that anyone who isn't currently an OSM geek take a look at two things. I looked the offending part of the bypass up on OSM and saw the changes you made.</p> <p>I'm still unsure about doing this journey (in any incarnation) entirely by bike in the dark. I think Cyclestreets does use OSM but not 100% sure. If you've corrected it I will check back to see if it changes the journey(hasn't changed yet but maybe later). That section of the bypass had an unknown status relating to cycles.
