I have an issue with the "inner pad" I think its called i.e. the velcro attached bit of material inside the helmet. It is the second one I have had for this helmet - I get quite hot so it gets a weekly wash - problem is washing it the first time pretty much made it fall apart (velcro and material layers separated) so I ended up stitching it back together which was a pain but worked.</p> <p>So, rather than going through this faff again if I get a new pad, does anyone have a recommendation for a helmet with a bit more robust detachable inner pad that can take a wash? It's a bog-standard Trek helmet that came with my MTB.</p> <p>Thanks in advance! </p>
