It was mainly marketing, but it included a range of top questions (all mandatory), including:</p> <p>1) "Do you ever cycle with family and friends?" - options 'yes/no/occasionally'. What's the difference between 'yes' and 'occasionally'?</p> <p>2) "I smoke less since I started cycling" - options ranged from strongly agree to strongly disagree. No others. I had to put that I strongly disagreed, because I absolutely don't smoke any less than I did before.</p> <p>3) "I drink less since I started cycling". Same options. I had to disagree again, because I actually drink quite a bit more now, in order to replace the fluids I sweat out. Even if I wasn't being so pedantic, how do I use this scale to say that I drink the same amount of alcohol. Presumably I have to disagree? Is that <em>really</em> the answer they want?</p> <p>4) "Which of the following do you buy?". Options were "gels, energy bars, vitamin supplements, other (specify)" . There was no 'not applicable' option. I had a sense of humour failure at this point and wrote in the 'other' box "This is a stupid question because you're asking me to specify everything else I buy".</p> <p>For reasons that are now beyond me, I didn't give up on this. </p>
