It's also a much better service than many other comparable villages in Mid and East Lothian will be recieving. Oh and it will still be free because of the National Entitlement Card.</p> <p>It's the introduction of a mild irritation to a small number of bus users in the village, rather than the end of days.</p> <p>They recently built a lot of swanky new McMansions in Auchendinny on the Dalmore Mill site, which must have pretty much doubled the population of the village. There used to be two buses from here to Inverkeithing - 6.30 and 7.30am. No one used the 6.30am one (apart from me and a couple of other people). I stopped using it (to use my bike). On the days I'd used the 7.30am bus it was similarly empty. So the chopped the 7.30am bus. So at least they've combined the two sets of few users onto one bus. But I know loads of people who drove to Inverkeithing Station.</p> <p>Chicken, meet egg. A proper only one, too, which only went six miles to the nearest market town only once a day (twice on Tues/Thurs market days). Now, of course, you can get a coach directly to London from the end of the road.
