Not sure if someone necessarily completely recovers. I would hope this could be done in an amicable way, but it would simply reflect the reality that I have had life-changing injuries that weren't my fault and they have insurance that might well pay out to cover my future care and loss of earnings.</p> <p>This doesn't feel like a situation that she should just accept as being 'bad luck'. Somebody is now shown to have broken the law, and she suffered as a result.
