Also, the adoption of extremely high speeds has been used as a way to overcome the system.".<br /> I had heard that such systems have been used in other countries but hadn't been able to find proper studies of whether they worked. The US also has some of these systems, and both there and in Portugal the death toll per capita is much higher than here, but I don't know if it would be even worse without this system, or if here would be better with it.
